We Didn't Have Time to Be Scared
We Didn't Have Time to Be Scared is the true story of Inge and Lucy Fischer, who were 10 and 7 years old when the Nazis invaded Vienna.
Inge's diary frames the family's story, as they flee Vienna, live at a boarding school in England, and are sent to an internment camp in Trinidad, all the while looking for a place to call home.
We Didn't Have Time to Be Scared was first produced in 2010 at Friends Academy. The production then was taken to the 2011 Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
